Interact Club students braved the rain to volunteer at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s Produce 2 People distribution at Langley on Thursday night. Students brought their enthusiasm and positivity and helped to provide 240 local families with fresh food.
Geometry students kicked off the year by engaging in a “Week of Inspiration Math,” with tasks designed by Stanford Professor Jo Boaler. On Friday, students explored patterns in cubes of different sizes, and they worked within their groups to justify their answers and to think about how the patterns would apply to larger cubes.
