PSCC Meetings

PSCC meetings provide parents, guardians and community members with the opportunity to provide feedback and hear important information as it relates to SciTech. We try to structure these meetings in a “workshop” format. Each month is a different topic with time for Q&A with administration at the end.

Why attend? Attending Parent School Community Council Meetings (PSCC) is a great way to support your student and school! The purpose of the Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy PSCC is to provide ongoing communication between the school and parents, guardians and community groups regarding issues that are important to the success of our students.

When are they? In order to be inclusive of our families, the PSCC Meetings will alternate between the 2nd Thursday of the month in an evening and the 1st Tuesday of the month in a morning.

What are they about? SciTech staff and administration will assist in delivering the content, which is detailed on the next page. At the end of each meeting there will be district Parent Advisory Council information shared and Q&A with administration.

Dinner and childcare are provided for evening meetings.
