SciTech follows a unique bell schedule that allows for activity period for students four days per week, an advisory period one day per week and a one hour early dismissal once a week for staff professional learning. 

During the July 27, 2022 Pittsburgh Board of Education Legislative meeting our school board approved the start times for all schools. Please review SciTech’s bell schedule for the 2022-2023 school year below. Please note that students are late to school after 7:15 (homeroom) and Period 2 begins at 7:18 AM. Arriving on time to school and class is critical to school engagement and success, so we thank you for ensuring that your student arrives on time for school.
